Themes to haunt my house.

My brother and I are trying to start decorating for Halloween before it becomes a last minute event but we're stuck on trying to find a theme to go around. Possible themes have included a twisted dollhouse, Alice's nightmarish trip through Wonderland, taking elements from the haunted mansion, or just a maze like a dot room which worked out well last year. I would like to have more choices spring to mind that can be done on a tight budget (no more than $600-$800) but I'm blocked. If anyone here can suggest some ideas or props that might inspire a theme I'm all ears.

We did come across this though and would like to incorporate it into any suggestion.
