| I used to make this all the time for friends.
1 cup Epsom salt 2 or 3 drops of essential oil of your choice 1 drop of food coloring
I normally use a plastic sandwich baggie and pour the salt in and then add the drops of oil and color. I then mush in around in the (closed!) bag until it's all evenly distributed. You can add things like dried lavender or dried rose petals too, but save that for last, otherwise they get pulverized with the mushing.
Oh, and don't eat this, put it in your bath. I know most of you would figure that out by the title... but I just don't want any 'This tasted like crap' comments later.

| I luv bath salt! Thats great.
Have you ever just taken a small bowl of brown sugar in the shower with you. And after getting under the water for a bit just rub the sugar all over? It's great for exfoliating. But also makes you skin feel all tightened and nice. I use brown sugar at least once a week.

| Ooh, that's a yummy idea, Kas I actually have a lip scrub which follows the same principle. I bought it, but would be just as easy to make. It's basically brown sugar and olive oil. Mine has cocoa and chilli in it too, so it tastes nommy. Chilli + chocolate = love. I'm actually thinking a DIY beauty treatments thread might be a good idea, I'm sure a ot of us have a few little ideas to share... | |
