Apparently GothicBeauty forum closed down and no one knows why? Im kinda late coming into all of it, it seems.
So I guess just pick up where we left off then?
I'll start, since I just spent two days making the corset for this ensemble.

The pattern is one I came up with semi from scratch. I took another corset that I had and copied the basic shape, adding a few liberties and changes of course. Wink
I tea-dyed the fabric for about four hours to give it the cream-antique look.
Kinda steam punk inspired. I don't personally dress steam punk on a regular basis, but damn making the outfits is so much fun!
This one needs more accessories, I know, eventually I'll get to all that good stuff. Excuse my laundry in the pictures, Ive been in bed with teeth problems addicted to vicodin for over a week and am just now getting back on my feet. Very Happy

Excellent outfit Abbi. It puts me in mind of a Steampunk Lara Croft. All you need is a couple of Webley Mark One revolvers slung at the hips!

Cute Abbi, I like it.

Ginger is that one you've made?

Tha is one awesome dress. I love the effect of the lime green ribbon. It has a kind of slimy look, like it's dripping and oozing down the side of the dress.

May your chosen deity bless our subculture, where such statements are taken as compliment Very Happy

Yesterday I saw my toadstool crop was decimated by the heat and my failure to keep it properly moistened. I said "When I get rich and have free time, another thing I'm doing is taking care of my toadstool crop, the poor things!"

My tenant, Sarah, started laughing. I said, "What?"

She said, "Most people wouldn't have ended that statement with "The poor things," but would be trying to get RID of them.

Well, the normals can do what they like. I like my toadstools. They're tasty in omelets.
