Let's see how far we've come.

Well, so far,

WAR:
We're still embroiled in this silly and costly war, and I've not heard a very convincing exit strategy.

ECONOMY:
Bush took volcanic amounts of heat for running up the national debt to a new record. Obama on the other hand spent more in his first month in office than Bush did in years (and apparently most of us are fine with that).

SCIENCE:
Well, this is one area we're prevailing in. Obama is making rapid progress in eliminating the moral qualms (or as he terms it "politics") from scientific research.

HUMAN LIFE:
Infanticide is becoming much easier. Wait, was that a good thing? I lose track so easily.

SPIRITUALITY:
The National Day of Prayer happened. Obama didn't notice. Because he "prays privately." Yeah. I'm sure he does. No reason to doubt that sort of dedication.

FOREIGN POLICY:
Finally, some real bragging rights! We're making great progress in our talks with Cuba.

So then... um...
