You have my sympathy. The boy seems pretty convinced that it's what I was suffering with last week, and it's HORRIBLE. I really hope you feel better soon.

I'm starting to recover. Now my midsection hurts from being flat on my back for 4 days straight. Hence I decided to try coming over to the comp and sitting.

Are you over your bout then? I hear the cough lingers forever.

I am glad to hear you are feeling better, but I had Igor set the lightning conductor up on the tower, just in case we needed it...

Just the cough now. Which, funnily enough, I didn't get until the other symptoms were well on their way out. I almost lost my voice, which led to some amusing incidents of 'mouth moving but no words coming out'.

Yeah, I went through this weird spectrum of symptoms, too. It seemed like two different bugs.

I have to go to a WEDDING. And look RESPECTABLE. Like a REAL GIRL. On SATURDAY.

I've never been to a wedding. I hate romantic shit. I hate rigidity and rules. I'm starting to contemplate the theory that I've been invited as an act of sadism.

I have to wear a DRESS. With FLORAL PATTERNING. And did I mention I have to pretend to be RESPECTABLE?

Why do these terrible things always happen to me?

Nah, they're far too lovely to do that. It's just the floral dress was the only respectable dress I could buy in a hurry. I didn't realise until I looked in my wardrobe that all of my dresses were either red, black, or PVC.

Anyway, the day went well. The groom was adorably nervous, the bride was gorgeous, and everything went according to plan. They're off in the Maldives now, lucky *&!$s.

Today's rant is that you're too busy to continue our delightful discussion on morality

Hey everyone,
I miss you all.
Life has gotten rather complicated lately.

I might have to do a bankruptcy. got lots of financial problems right now.
I can't wait till this is over and I can get back into life

I don't think there's any of us whose lives haven't gone berzerko these last few months. Hope everything works out for the best there. My finances are none of the best right now either. I've never quite been rich, but it's never been scary like this before, either.

And yeah, I'm bummed about leaving that discussion hanging, too. Believe me it's up near the top of the list.
