Yay! One of the most beautiful minds I know has returned. Glad the recent meeting with the boy and unicorn has made life better. Hope to see you around more.

Ooh you two are cute together. Can't knock a man who likes pancakes and is willing to have his photo taken with a sparkly pink unicorn atop his hat.

Shhh.... he doesn't know I posted that one. Razz

Funny story about the unicorn, too... we made it at Build-A-Bear, as a spur of the moment thing... and he wanted to pick out a sound box to put inside it. He picked a cat 'meowing'...

Take a guess where we put the sound box...

The woman who made it was mortified when we told her where to put it.

Ahhh, yes. Priceless moments in defilement of children's toys.

affraid

I have sign ups for my art journal and bookbinding classes and I've been invited to sell some of my artwork and things at a huge craftfair in Warwick in November. cheers

Self employment as a freelance artist/art teacher is tough, but it's FUN!

Cool, Warwick. My old stamping ground* back at the end of the 80's.
Cool

Twenty years ago!

God that makes me feel old!
Sad

Is "Castle Balti" still going? That was arguably the best Indian Restaurant I've ever been in.

(*Well, just down the road. I was at Warwick Uni)

I'm a bit further up in Stoke. I've only ever been to Warwick once and that was to get to Stratford.

Well Warwick Uni is actually in Coventry, the a**ehole of the Midlands.
Nice place, if you like concrete.

I did spend many a pleasant evening in Stratford with a lady of my acquaintance, and a couple of most amusing days drunk in charge of a rowing boat.

Hey! Those mobiles worked fine as long as you didn't unplug them from the mains or take them outside.

Nope. Thus far my wife's rosaries and a new site for teapots and such. I wouldn't pawn off those dodgy mobiles on...

Er... I mean those lovely little dodgy mobiles...

Not going to give us a link to these sites then?

We don't mind shameless self-promotion from people we like!

Though pizza is fantastic, I'm good, we've got twice-baked potatoes over here.

Regarding websites:
http://www.ichthysrosaries.com (and an easy to remember mirror: www.fishrosary.com)
You'll just have to visit to find out why it's called that. Smile

The teapot site I wouldn't recommend trying to purchase from yet. It's not quite complete. It would probably work, but I'll let you know when it's all done. The URL is
http://www.CollectorTeapots.com
It will have a bunch more stuff on there when it's finished, including teas.

Now it's tomorrow
I don't have to write haiku
That is a relief.

Enlighten us please

I just instinctively started formulating a reply in haiku... methinks it's addictive, so watch out, EHE!

It is hard to fit
EvilHippyEmperor
Into a haiku

I have to use two
Even to fit my name in
So will not bother

Content is one part
But form too conveys intent
Both in harmony
