Pictures from last Friday the 13th ...finally!

I'll post one or two a day, probably, since I've got a zillion of them. Hopefully I'm photobucket editing right so they're not too huge.

This is a shot of the banquet table, just before the dinner.

That's quite a table full! We couldn't sit that many in the Imperial Palace if we tried!

So is your wife the Good or Evil Twin?
(I've seen enough movies to know that one of each twin is born evil!)

By the consensus of both of them, my wife is the Good Twin.

This one is Evil:

The dinner went over well and was much appreciated by all. Well, except the one semi-vegetarian. The moral of this story is that these are the things your host needs to know before you arrive. If you don't tell me you can't eat something, and I serve it, well, sorry about your bad luck.

We didn't get too many shots of the food itself, but we got a picture of the drumsticks I served for the main course. They weren't quite done out of the oven, so we cut slices and seared them on a hotplate.

The photographer included the stacks of dinner-plates on purpose to give you an idea of the scope of the thing.

We had choice of Tentacle Stew or Yak Stew as first course, a dark citrus onion salat as second. Main course and entree were served together - the Emu you saw above and alligator fettuccine pasta with a side of toadstools. Desert was a jicama flambe of my wife's invention, shown here:
